Only if you trust its history: a seat that's been through a crash loses protection even without visible damage. Ask directly, check the production year (plastic lasts 6–8 years) and the harness integrity.

A 2-in-1 saves money and space but weighs more. With an elevator and a car, take the 2-in-1; for a high floor with no elevator, a light separate buggy after 6 months is easier.

Working mid-segment models run 4–8 thousand hryvnias; premium (Cybex Priam, Bugaboo) after one child — 12–25 thousand against 40–70 new. Under 3 thousand usually means age 5+ years or worn-out mechanisms — inspect twice as hard.

Weight (up to 9 kg for a city with an elevator, up to 7 without), one-hand folding, a backrest that reclines flat, wheel size for your roads. Check the harness for integrity and lock — the one thing that allows no compromise.

Same rules as all car seats: only with a known crash-free history, under 6–7 years old, intact harness and buckle. The upside of infant seats is the short use period (under a year), so wear is usually minimal. An IsoFix base included is a big plus for convenience and resale alike.
