How pre-moderation works

The first listings of new sellers are reviewed by a moderator before publication (status “pending”). Sellers with three or more approved listings publish instantly, but their listings can still be taken down after complaints or spot checks.

Automatic filters flag listings with spam signals: links, phone numbers in the text, duplicates. The moderator sees these flags during review.

A rejected listing carries a reason code shown to the seller (DSA Art. 17 — statement of reasons). Users who systematically break the rules are banned: they can no longer post listings or send messages, and their listings leave the catalog.

How to file a complaint

Every listing page has a “Report” form: pick a reason (spam, fraud, prohibited item, etc.) and optionally add details.

You can report anonymously, without an account (DSA Art. 16). In that case leave an email so we can tell you the outcome.

Every complaint is reviewed by a moderator. As a result the listing may be taken down and the user warned or banned. Aggregate complaint statistics are in the counters above.

How to appeal a decision

If your listing was rejected you can appeal: your account dashboard has an appeal form next to each rejected listing (DSA Art. 20 — internal complaint-handling system).

A moderator reviews the appeal. If the decision was wrong, the listing is restored to the catalog and the appeal counts as upheld.
