To create a seller shop on EX & GO, sign in to your account, open the shop settings in the seller cabinet, fill in the required shop name and URL slug, add an optional short description and logo, then save. Your existing active listings are grouped by category on the shop page. Public visibility depends on account eligibility, moderation status and the access rules that apply to your account.

This guide covers storefront configuration only. It does not cover pricing strategy, photography equipment or how to negotiate with buyers. What it does cover is the small set of fields that decide whether your shop looks complete, whether the name and handle read the way you intended, and what a visitor sees when they open the page.
The name and URL handle are required; the description and logo are optional. You can add optional details later. Read the posting rules before preparing your shop text.
- Sign-in is required. Shop settings redirect signed-out visitors to login and then back to settings.
- Shop name and URL slug are required. The short description and logo are optional.
- The shop address is a URL handle, not a postal address. Never enter a home address.
- Your existing active listings appear grouped by category. Nothing is copied into a second catalogue.
Signing in and opening the shop settings
Shop configuration sits behind the seller cabinet. Open shop settings while signed out and the platform sends you to the login screen, then returns you to the same page once you authenticate. There is no separate registration path for shops.
If the settings page does not open after sign-in, check the address and any account messages. If the problem remains, use support.
What you need before you start
Prepare your shop name, a readable URL handle and, if you want one, a logo you have the right to use. Check which categories contain your active listings.
Shop name, URL slug and the optional fields
The name is what buyers read. The slug is what appears in the address bar and in any link you share. Both are required. Everything else on this screen is optional, and treating it that way keeps you moving.
Choosing a name that survives moderation
Use a name that represents your shop. Do not claim to be official or verified unless you can substantiate it.
The URL slug is a handle, not an address
The shop address is the URL handle: the short identifier in the shop link. It is not a street address, pickup point or postal address. Do not enter your home address in this field.
Choose a readable handle and follow the address rules and validation messages in the form. If you change it later, check and update links you have shared.
Short description and logo
The short description is optional. If you write one, keep it factual: what you sell, which categories, which city if that is relevant to your buyers. Do not claim certifications, guarantees or business history you cannot support.
The logo is optional and subject to image checks. Use an image you have the right to use. If you upload one, check the form result and public page after saving.
Prepare the shop name and handle before saving. After changing the handle, check previously shared links and update any that no longer reach your shop.
How do your existing listings appear on the shop page?
A visible shop groups your existing active listings by category. You do not copy listings into a second catalogue, and you do not maintain two sets of prices. The shop is a view over what you already have live.
Two consequences follow. First, an empty shop stays empty until you have active listings, and an empty shop is not a useful destination to share. Second, if you want a category to appear, you need active listings inside it. The shop reflects your catalogue; it does not create one.
Preparing listings so the shop reads well
Listings are checked, so the preparation is worth a few minutes. Use your own photos rather than stock images. Write descriptions that match the actual condition of the item. Set real prices rather than placeholders. Choose the correct city and category, because a wrong category pushes the item into the wrong group on your shop page.
That is the whole of the listing advice here. Deeper guidance on photographing furniture, valuing second-hand goods or handling shipping belongs elsewhere and is not part of storefront setup.
A numbered checklist before you save
- Sign in and confirm the shop settings page loads for your account.
- Type the shop name exactly as you want buyers to read it.
- Choose a readable URL handle that follows the form's rules; do not enter a home address.
- Write a short description only if it adds a fact a buyer needs.
- Upload a logo you own the rights to, or skip the field.
- Confirm your active listings sit in the correct categories and cities.
- Save, then open the public shop link in a private browser window as a visitor.
Why is your shop not visible to visitors yet?
Saving does not guarantee public availability or search inclusion. The shop must be set to show, without a moderation restriction; its owner must not be banned and must meet applicable access or plan conditions.
A shop can be saved while its public page remains unavailable. Check the visibility setting and account messages; switching visibility does not remove moderation restrictions.
Hiding and showing your shop
You can hide the shop yourself. Showing it again changes your setting, but does not remove moderation restrictions or other access conditions. If it remains unavailable, check messages and contact support.
Checking the shop as a visitor
Open the public shop link in a private window while signed out. Check the name, description and visible listings. If login opens, ensure you used the public link rather than the settings URL; a page without products is a separate listing issue.
Your next step
Open shop settings, sign in and complete the required fields. Check the public link before sharing it. Use the seller overview for listing preparation and support for access questions.
Frequently asked questions
What is required to create a shop on EX & GO?
A signed-in account, a shop name and a URL handle are required. The short description and logo are optional. Opening shop settings while signed out takes you to login; the public shop page is a separate address.
Is the shop address a postal address?
No. The shop address is the URL slug, the handle that forms part of your shop link. It is not a street address, a pickup location or a postal address, and no field in the setup asks you to publish where you live.
Do I need to copy my listings into the shop?
No. A visible shop groups existing active listings eligible for public display by category. You keep one catalogue. If an item is missing, check its listing status and category; do not create a duplicate.
Why is my shop not visible after saving?
Visibility depends on the shop being set to show, no moderation restriction, an unbanned eligible owner and applicable access or plan conditions. Saving does not guarantee public availability or search inclusion.
Can I hide my shop and show it again later?
Yes. An owner can hide the shop and turn it back on. Showing it again restores your own setting only. It does not remove a staff moderation restriction or resolve another eligibility condition, so the shop may still be unavailable to visitors after you re-enable it.
How do I check what buyers see?
Open the public shop link in a private browser window while signed out. Check its name, description and visible listings. If login opens, ensure you used the public link rather than the settings URL. If the page opens without products, check the listings separately.
